Hurstwood View, Uckfield
Of the care homes that I would recommend, I would have to include Hurstwood View in Uckfield. Situated about 5 minutes from the town of Uckfield with loads of amenities this home offers assisted living apartments for sale, as well as the nursing care in the care home.
What is special about these apartments is that they are in effect set within the care home. So they offer totally autonomous living with the support of a care home next door should or when you need it. They would be perfect for a couple if one person needed nursing care and the other was fit and able to live independently. Quite literally the visiting time from apartment to care home bed would be 45 seconds.
The apartments are either one or two bedroom and are well fitted with a kitchen and very smart en suite wet room.
If you think it might be time to have some support around you these apartments are worth a look.
