For individuals

If you’ve not had to find a care home before – or if you are currently in a home but are unhappy in it – it can be hard to know where to start.  The choice can seem overwhelming, it can be difficult to tell the good from the bad and bewildering to know what questions to ask to get the information to make the right decision for you.  That’s why we’re here.

How we can help you

We can help you find:

  • Residential care – the perfect new home for you
  • Nursing care – if you have more complex medical needs
  • Convalescent care – so you can recover after a planned operation or short-term illness
  • Respite care – when you or your carers needs a break

How we work

All about you: You are the most important person in this journey, so we work with you to put you in control of this important decision.  We take time to get to know you, your likes and dislikes, your needs, hopes and concerns – and we respect what is important to you.

Future planning: We help you plan successfully for your future to turn what can be a difficult journey into a wonderful discovery, enabling you to live your life to the full – the way you want to.

Expert advice: We have been helping people find care homes successfully for over 10 years.  We have only ever put our client first.

Your champion: We act for you and no-one else.  While we provide advice to care homes as part of our commitment to raising standards in the industry, we are completely independent of them and never take a fee for our services to them.  If we recommend a care home to you, it is because we believe it meets your requirements, and no other reason.

Our services

We can provide as much or as little support as you require.  Our services include:

  • Over the phone consultation – to understand fully your care needs, your budget, your timescale and the detail that will ensure we find the best homes to meet your needs
  • Creating a shortlist of care homes for you to consider that will meet all of your requirements and a full report so that you can compare them side by side.
  • The final decision is in your hands, but you can rest assured that you are making an informed decision from the very best care homes.

Now that my husband is beginning to settle into his care home, I wanted to write and thank you for all your help and expertise in finding a suitable care home for him at a time when I was finding life very difficult. I do not think I could have managed without you. I appreciated your practical support in organising all the visits and even return visits with other members of my husband’s family. Your knowledge of how to assess a home and to know what to look for in any assessment cut out hours of my time trying to understand reports, particularly at a time when I could not think straight. Your understanding of my emotional situation was a real blessing. Although the care home we chose is not in my immediate neighbourhood, I am still convinced that it suits his needs and he will settle in well to this new environment. To find an expert in the unchartered waters of care homes at a time of personal distress was wonderful. Very many thanks. With every good wish
